• Today I shall step away from anger to write a poem

  Tell me now, what do you love?
  A swan, a fawn, a biblical dove?
  Does your love reach to the stars above?
  Would you pay for a strangers cab?
  Would you even pay their tab?
  Would you protest for a cause you hate?
  Would you put food on a stranger's plate?
  Would you do one or more?
  Or does this sound like folklore?
  Has your religion ever taught you to hate?
  If so, I have something to state:
  Do unto others as you wish others to you;
  Whether you do or don't I shall always Love you.
